Hi everyone! We apologize for the lack of posting lately! With a combination of little league tournaments in between saving the Earth one bus or bike ride at a time, there seems to be so little time left over. Dad is making the post today because I am sure that with the combination of dad's day fallowed by dad's b-day the girls are probably busy getting all of dad's great surprises ready!!! Hopefully we will be back to posting more regularly but I can't make to many promises with the weather "HOPEFULLY" getting nicer soon! Cate is taking groups of steps at a time but tends to get her upper body going a little faster then her lower half. This usually resembles something you might see after happy hour at Applebees. I must also apologize that my post isn't as cleaver and detailed as mom's usually are but I figure if I get some new pics up no-one will really notice! ;)
In honor of Dad's day...the things I love about being dad!
- Hugs ~ something I never put a lot of thought and time into until now...so simple, sweet and melt me in her arms every time!!!
- Sleep ~ a better appreciation...
- New adventures ~ never did I imagine I would put so much time and effort into evaluating a car seat like it was going to be the next NFL draft pick...
- Humbly Proud ~ something so small that makes you "know" she is a baby genius...I mean how many other 11 month olds can strategically un-program the remote control that you no longer have the instruction manual for in approximately 2 seconds???
- Hugs ~ she loves me...she really loves me
- Wind chimes, bells, and whistles ~ all things I now have a much greater appreciation for due to the great joy it brings my daughter!
- Backyardigans ~ little did I realize how entertaining a couple of borderline inappropriately named animals pretending to have adventures in their back yard could be...
- Butt paste ~ why didn't I come up with this stuff???
- Hugs ~ take em anytime...
- Time ~ once again a better appreciation ~ it goes to fast already and why did I EVER think I didn't have enough before???
- Bed face ~ nothing better then getting her up from a nap to realize that she looks like something from a sci-fi movie...but just makes her that much more adorable...
- Prom ~ I must apologize to the young boy out there in advance for how I may act when you knock on my door one day...
- Hugs ~ they never get old...
- Winglets ~ some day I am sure she will have a great full head of hair but until then I lover her wispy little winglets just the way they are...
- Giggles ~ the hand over the mouth laugh is unbearably cute...
- Dinner time ~ you always make it an adventure in it's own...
- Nordstroms ~ with your aunties I think I am wasting my prayers...it's only a matter of time
- Early morning walks ~ doesn't everyone know... 6:30 is the new 8:30
- Dad's day ~ my birthday weekend turns into dad's weekend of joy!!!
- Did I mention HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!!
I could go on forever but it is getting late and I need my rest for the big weekend!!! :)
