- Hugs ~ something I never put a lot of thought and time into until now...so simple, sweet and melt me in her arms every time!!!
- Sleep ~ a better appreciation...
- New adventures ~ never did I imagine I would put so much time and effort into evaluating a car seat like it was going to be the next NFL draft pick...
- Humbly Proud ~ something so small that makes you "know" she is a baby genius...I mean how many other 11 month olds can strategically un-program the remote control that you no longer have the instruction manual for in approximately 2 seconds???
- Hugs ~ she loves me...she really loves me
- Wind chimes, bells, and whistles ~ all things I now have a much greater appreciation for due to the great joy it brings my daughter!
- Backyardigans ~ little did I realize how entertaining a couple of borderline inappropriately named animals pretending to have adventures in their back yard could be...
- Butt paste ~ why didn't I come up with this stuff???
- Hugs ~ take em anytime...
- Time ~ once again a better appreciation ~ it goes to fast already and why did I EVER think I didn't have enough before???
- Bed face ~ nothing better then getting her up from a nap to realize that she looks like something from a sci-fi movie...but just makes her that much more adorable...
- Prom ~ I must apologize to the young boy out there in advance for how I may act when you knock on my door one day...
- Hugs ~ they never get old...
- Winglets ~ some day I am sure she will have a great full head of hair but until then I lover her wispy little winglets just the way they are...
- Giggles ~ the hand over the mouth laugh is unbearably cute...
- Dinner time ~ you always make it an adventure in it's own...
- Nordstroms ~ with your aunties I think I am wasting my prayers...it's only a matter of time
- Early morning walks ~ doesn't everyone know... 6:30 is the new 8:30
- Dad's day ~ my birthday weekend turns into dad's weekend of joy!!!
- Did I mention HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!!
I could go on forever but it is getting late and I need my rest for the big weekend!!! :)

Now that I ranted and raided about all the things we've done around here that make life..well..more interesting. I need to tell you that the only reason were doing them is because Cate is probably the most intelligent baby ever! Shes learning new things every day. Shes "surfing" furniture and walls, loving to dance, signing "milk" and "all done", saying "mama" & "Dada", and understanding the word NO (this is a work in progress).

Today I suddenly realized that we haven't posted anything lately. I thought that's weird, we haven't been that busy.... But then did I remember all the things we've been doing.... getting Cate unstuck from underneath the end table, putting away all the Tupperware Cate pulled out from the cabinet, putting gates up at both ends of the stairs, only after Cate "slid" down a couple stairs, cleaning out Cate's closet because shes growing like a weed! How in the heck do people have multiple children?? As I write this now, I have my foot holding a lid on a box so Cate cant get to it, and my left hand waving a child size hanger as if I were the Queen of the parade, just to keep her attention long enough to finish writing this post. To all you who have multiple children I salute you!!!
